Generate a pitch report

Use a global organization API key with admin access. Your organization needs Pitch Workspace access and available pitch allowance.

Create

Choose one request key per report. Keep the same key when retrying a timeout or temporary error.

The response is 202 Accepted. Only website_url is required. Optional country and language default to United States and English. Research prepares the company profile, competitors, and prompts before the standard Pitch Workspace report runs. A processing report may initially show the submitted domain and empty results. Reports research 20 prompts and query ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot. The report displays all 11 supported models and highlights those with results.

Poll every 10 seconds and inspect pitch.status in the existing detail response. Stop at completed or failed. Completed reports include competitors, prompts, sources, attributes, and metrics. Share report_url after completion. Anyone with that link can view the report. Creation does not send email; your application chooses when and how to deliver it.

Retries and allowance

Each admitted report consumes one pitch, including a report whose research or generation later fails. Unlimited organizations do not consume a finite allowance.
Retrying the same key and normalized input returns the same report without a second charge. A different body with the same key returns 409.
A new key requests a new report, even for the same website.
Creation permits three concurrent API reports per organization and 10 requests per minute. Honor Retry-After on 429 responses.
On a temporary 500, retry the same request key. Do not switch keys to work around a billing error. An unresolved billing operation can require support reconciliation; its reserved allowance remains held to prevent duplicate spending.
